James Chestnut III has over 15 years of nonprofit consulting experience, and after the retirement of his father in 2014, is now Chief Executive Officer of James Chestnut & Associates, Inc. James is a born-again Christian and a faithful member of Grace Church of Humble where brothers Brett and Scott Jones are the Co-Senior Pastors. A devoted husband and father, James married his best friend Leyla in 2002. Leyla, who is also saved and sanctified, has been a supportive and invaluable companion both personally and professionally. James’ proudest accomplishments are his three children, son, James Chestnut IV and, daughters, Deja and Chloe Chestnut. Outside of his professional interests James serves as the board treasurer of the Aftershock Basketball Club, enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and an occasional round of golf.
Ian Chestnut is the owner/founder of IVC Productions, LLC is a full service website development and graphic design firm specializing in XHTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, PHP, MS SQL, MySQL, Responsive Web Design, Mobile Device Compatibility, Web Hosting, Website Maintenance, E-Commerce, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Content Management Systems (CMS), Mobile Applications, and Social Media Feeds.
Tracey Prieto is a Senior Business Banking Specialist for Wells Fargo Bank. For nearly 10 years she has been proactively cultivating relationships with existing and prospective small business owners in the Northeast area creating lifelong partnerships! Prieto feels it is her duty to understand the whole financial picture of her clients; by doing this she can better help them put financial strategies in place that help ease the stress of owning a business. During her almost ten year tenure with Wells Fargo Bank Prieto has received many accolades for her excellent performance in community banking. For the past three years, she has been the recipient of the Credit Start Award and the Southwest Credit Champion Club.; these recognitions show her passion for helping small businesses expand and maximize their cash flow.
Not only is she passionate about her job, but Prieto is also very passionate about helping her community. She is currently the District Marketing Developer for the Ladies United in Vision, a nonprofit organization that raises funds for underprivileged teenagers, provides essential items to foreign mission fields, offers college scholarships, provides emergency relief funds for national disasters, and assists in organizing community events. Lauren Ozarchuk – Lauren is a payroll and tax compliance specialist with ADP, serving small to mid-size businesses both in Houston, Texas and across the US. She also works with companies to provide HR support, benefits, retirement, and workers compensation insurance with a focus on customer service. Her goal is to help small business owners offset the burden of their back-office administration and to help retain their best talent. Kendall has a two year tenure at ADP and has helped hundreds of businesses with their payroll and HR needs. ADP is the leader in their industry and they help companies focus on what matters most- their clients, their people, and their business.
A professional grantwriter since 1996, Suzette Chapman researches public and private funding sources and prepares grant proposals for non-profit organizations. Ms. Chapman earned Bachelor of Humanities and Master of Literature degrees from the University of Houston – Clear Lake, where she was named Outstanding Undergraduate Student of Literature and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She has written for organizations that address a range of concerns: homelessness, hunger, education, financial literacy, mental disabilities, alcoholism and addiction, family violence, child abuse, Veterans of the U.S. Armed Services, spay/neuter programs for companion animals, and habitat conservation. Proposals have included requests to fund operations, projects, and equipment. Ms. Chapman’s work has generated over $51,000,000 in grant awards.
